Not just a movie night. A full Old Hollywood social evening celebrating Marilyn Monroe’s 100th birthday. Join us at Rail River Folk School for an evening of glamour, food, drinks available at the cash bar, a Marilyn Monroe appearance, a costume contest with prizes, and time to mingle and shine. We’ll end the night with a special screening of *Gentlemen Prefer Blondes*, the iconic 1953 film starring Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell, who was born right here in Bemidji. 1950s Hollywood glam is encouraged, but never required. Dress up, dress down, come as you are. This is a queer-friendly, trans-friendly, and welcoming event for all. Come as you are. Leave as a star. Tickets help cover bar fees and film licensing. All remaining funds to be donated to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital
