⚆◟⚆Art Shopping Network® (ASN) presents Acquired Taste, a two-day live auction, selling exhibition, and cultural program taking place May 29–30, 2026, at HOMME in Washington, D.C.
Conceived as both exhibition and broadcast, Acquired Taste brings together established and emerging artists across painting, photography, illustration, sculpture, flyposting, printmaking, and mixed media. The program emphasizes intentional acquisition, offering collectors access to works at a range of entry points through both live auction and early-buy opportunities.
The exhibition will be open to the public with free admission during gallery hours, with live auction programming taking place Friday, May 29 from 6:00–10:00 PM and Saturday, May 30 from 4:00–10:00 PM. Visitors may experience the work in person or via livestream broadcast on ASN’s digital platforms, where registered participants may bid in real time. A special First Access program allows collectors to purchase select works at market value prior to auction through a password-protected portal, unlocked through purchase of the official exhibition catalogue.
Acquired Taste builds on ASN’s founding premise to socialize art buying while preserving the transparency and energy of the auction format, positioning collecting as both a cultural and communal act. A portion of proceeds will benefit participating nonprofit organizations, including the Anacostia Community Museum, Martha’s Table, Montgomery County Immigrant Rights Collective, and WHUT-TV.
