Come because one new connection can change your whole summer & life.🔥 See you there FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 💬 What is this event? A social night for Greeks and Greek Americans in NYC to actually meet each other, not just pass by each other in Astoria. Good people, good energy, and a room where everyone already shares some common ground. Think like a regular social party but better. What time should I come? We recommend coming around 7-8 to enjoy the most of the event which will end by 11pm. Treat it like a fun early social event that rocks from 7-11 and still gets you into bed at a decent hour! Some people meet and still go on to continue the party elsewhere. 🙋‍♂️ Should I come alone? Yes. A lot of people do. This isn’t a “come with a group or feel awkward” type of event. It’s built so it’s easy to talk to people right away. 🙋‍♂️ Does it have a cover? This event is entirely free. Just grab something from the bar (at least one drink) to support the spot hosting us. There's also food and other drink options if you don't drink alcohol. 👯 Can I bring friends? Of course. Bring your Greek friends, your Greek American friends, or even your non-Greek friends who can keep up. 🤔 Is this like a networking event? No. This is not business cards and forced conversations. It’s more like a really good Astoria night where you actually meet new people instead of staying in your circle. Do I have to be fully Greek? Not at all. Greek, half Greek, Greek at heart, or just love the culture and the people. If you vibe with it, you’re welcome. 😅 What if I don’t know anyone? Perfect. Most people won’t know everyone either. That’s the whole point. You’ll have an easy time jumping into conversations. 🎶 What’s the vibe like? Think fun Astoria night, Greek music playing, people talking, laughing, moving around. Social, not stiff. 📍 Where is it? Barkada Social Club in Astoria. You’ll find us easily once you walk in. Just show up, we take care of the rest. 👥 How many people are coming? We’re expecting a strong turnout. Usually 30-50+. Enough to meet new people, not so packed that you can’t move. In the end, one new connection can change your life! 🏡 Do I have to live in Astoria?
