UPDATE: Hey everyone! So bad news, the NY State Museum will be closed for plaza wide system testings this weekend. We’re going to be moving this meetup to the Albany Institute of History and Art instead. Our time will be switched to 12pm when the museum opens and there is an admission fee of $12 (or free if you’re an Albany Public Library card holder) for this museum. We’re going to go to Iron Gate Cafe down the street after instead of Station Six. Please readjust your RSVP status as the event’s info will be updated. Thank you! - - - For those in the Friends in 518 group who are interested in more artsy museum adventures! Whether you’re coming to check out the museum for the first time, looking to meet new people and wander around with good company for a bit, come experience this with us. Feel free to bring sketchbooks and art supplies if you want to sketch. We plan on hanging out and getting coffee afterwards! ☕️
