We're celebrating the release of the new affirmational coloring book, "Cultivating Compassion in Times of Fascism." Learn more about the book: compassioncoloringbook.com In these times of fascism, let's gather, co-nurture our nervous systems, bring color to black and white, and contemplate topics that nourish the soul. The theme of this coloring circle will be INTERBEING There'll be a conversation between moderator, Sonya Shah, and author/illustrator, Chetna Mehta, about the book, including how it’s a catalyst for community gathering. We're kindly sponsored and hosted by Ahimsa Collective (ahimsacollective.net)! No art experience is needed for these coloring circles—just a desire to slow down, color and share care in community The session includes: - Light bites and beverages - Art supplies and free coloring pages - Opening and closing rituals - An embodied mindfulness practice to ground together - Guided prompts for mindful connection - Time to color, co-regulate, share and witness in community - Coloring books available for purchase Suggested donation: $25 No one turned away for lack of funds, space is intimate DOORS CLOSE @ 3:30pm to preserve the container.
