Join us at Brady and Firen’s lovely SF Noasis community backyard gathering space in Noe Valley for an inspiring introduction and fundraiser launch for CIRCUL - the flagship project bringing the Bay Area’s famously generative circles of culture together.
Circul is a new kind of gathering - not just another conference or festival, but a biennial multi-day cultural crucible launching in San Francisco in Fall 2026. Part conference, part festival, part co-creation lab, Circul is designed to show how the hard work and joy of collaborative creative practice can spark shared purpose, service, and belonging.
We are living through a time of deep disconnection. Loneliness and fragmentation are rising worldwide. Yet history shows that when people come together to create, they generate not just art but meaning, not just events but movements. Circul is focused on scaling this overlooked civic technology: collective play and collaborative culture as forces for resilience and renewal.
At Circul, participants will engage with leaders and doers from the Bay’s rich circles of culture: immersive art and maker communities, biotech pioneers and software builders, dance and performance groups, and the Bay’s radical countercultural lineages - spanning underground urban exploration, psychedelic communities, and sex-positive movements.
Together participants will:
• Co-create large-scale participatory art • Prototype civic rituals • Join transformative salons and dialogues • Experiment in creative jam sessions that cross disciplines • Celebrate through festival-integrated music, DJs, dancing, and art revelry
Participants will leave not only inspired but equipped with tangible tools - including a Playbook for Cultural Superproduction - to bring back to their own communities and spark new gatherings, projects, and cultural spaces.
Join us for drinks, nibbles, and conversation as we introduce this emerging civic platform and gathering to carry the Bay’s cultural lineages forward.
