Along with LA Design Weekend, Johnny Le's open studio showcases an installation of his recent works, from fine art photography to prototype design pieces.
Johnny Le (b. 1987) is a Vietnamese-American fine art photographer and multimedia artist based in Los Angeles. His diaristic approach to image-making captures liminal moments, intimate portraits, and documentarian artifacts that offer nuanced glimpses into the lives of artists, cultural icons, and the spaces they inhabit. Extending his practice through experimental curation and creative advisory, Le develops thematic concepts and cultural programming that bridge art with design, entertainment, fashion, gastronomy, and music, often engaging unorthodox exhibition contexts. His work has been presented in Night Market by Civil Art at Christie’s, New York (2024), Alabaster in Los Angeles (2023), Better Together: Living Room at Spazio Fonte, Milan (2023), and Salon at Radius House, Venice, CA (2022), among others, and has been featured in publications including Purple Fashion Magazine, Greatest, and Office.
