Join SLLSA for a salsa dancing lesson during Semana Latina! All are welcome, no experience required. The class will be held in Russo at 7:30pm on Friday, April 24 and will be taught by our very own SLSers, Nissim and Silva! For many SLLSA members, social dance serves as a vital expression of cultural identity, community connection, and celebration. Many of us associate salsa (or merengue, bachata, cumbia, or tapatío) with the vibrant and joyful family gatherings characteristic of our upbringings. Since Semana Latina is, at its heart, a celebration of community, we can't think of a better way to culminate the week than by dancing the night away with all of you, our Stanford family. We'll have plenty of good music and vibes. We hope to see you there!
