UU Ministers are ordained not by a governing body, but legitimized by the people they serve. Dr. Emma Farrell has been invited into ordination by Unity Temple and the Unitarian Church of Evanston. Please join in celebrating their ordination as a Unitarian Universalist minister! The ceremony will take place at Unity Temple in Oak Park at 2:30 pm CDT, with former UUA president Rev Susan Frederick-Gray giving the sermon. A reception will follow. The service will also be streamed online. For questions, please email efarrell@ucevanston.org. Religious professionals (seminarians, religious educators, musicians, and clergy) who wish to robe and/or process are invited to arrive at 2 pm.
