Join us for an evening that celebrates YOU through connection, creativity, and honest self-reflection. We're blending the joy of sharing beloved books, good food and even better community, the power of intentional writing, and of course the freedom of creative self-expression into one transformative experience. What to Expect: 5:00-6:00 PM | Gather & Connect Arrive to delicious bites and drinks from Marimba Cafe as we settle in. Bring one book that changed you, challenged you, or simply brought you joy. Something you can't stop thinking about. We'll "speed date" our books: you'll have 2 minutes to convince someone why YOUR book deserves a spot on their nightstand. It's playful, it's passionate, and yes, someone might just buy the book you're raving about! Browse a curated selection of books, journals, totes, and candles from Book Haven Books and Massiel Alfonso while you mingle. 6:00-7:00 PM | Writing Workshop with Massiel Alfonso Through guided prompts, we'll explore what it means to love ourselves not in a hustle-culture "self-care Sunday" way, but in a deep, honest, selfish-in-the-best-way kind of way. 7:00-8:00 PM | Self-Portrait Collaging with Junk Society How do you see yourself? Using paper cutouts, magazine clippings, textures, and colors, we'll create Picasso-inspired abstract self-portraits that capture our inner landscape. No art experience needed.
