Competition – May 8 to May 22, 2025
OZ Park Fest, a monthly Chicago-based film fest, presents the May 2025 Edition: A Vertical-Format Advertising Short Film Competition. This 14-Day challenge invites visionary filmmakers, marketing & advertising creatives, and emerging content creators to produce a compelling vertical-format video advertisement, crafted specifically for our featured brand partner, El Nacimiento Tequila. The winning entry will receive a grand prize package.
Participants will have 14 days - from May 8 to May 22 - to conceptualize, film, and submit a vertical-format advertising short ranging from 1 to 2 minutes. Submissions will be evaluated by an esteemed panel of Judges - comprising professionals from world-renowned advertising agencies, global leaders in public relations, leading multinational professional services companies, and exceptional educational institutions.
Panel Discussion - 6P | May 25, 2025
The evening will kick off with a dynamic industry panel: Vertical Storytelling: The Future of Brand Engagement & Mobile Content. Leading voices will explore emerging trends, strategies, and the extraordinary potential of vertical video as an essential tool for modern brand engagement.
Screenings | Q&A | Awards - 7P | May 25, 2025
Following the panel, the festival will transition into screenings of the submitted vertical-format advertising shorts, and filmmaker Q&A session. The evening will conclude with real-time feedback and analysis from our distinguished panel of judges, culminating in the highly anticipated announcement of the grand prize winner.
