With 20+ years at the intersection of people and technology, Joshua built SKLUT after losing real business opportunities while stuck waiting in a lobby for a manual check-in. That frustration became a global facial recognition-powered access and visitor management platform now operating across New York, Latin America, the Middle East, Europe, and Africa. On June 3rd, Joshua shares what it takes to identify a broken system — and build the future instead.
Sherry Li is Founder & CEO of PaiBox, an AI infrastructure and intelligence layer for property repair operations, autonomously executing real-world workflows with continuous operational coordination. PaiBox reduces up to 80% of manual execution time while improving transparency, operational efficiency, and repair cost control. She brings over 16 years of real estate investment and operational experience, including roles at a $1.1 trillion sovereign wealth fund. In 2018, she founded C-STAR, a $120 million real estate investment platform.
Sherry Li holds degrees from the University of Michigan and Peking University, and is currently enrolled in the Harvard Business School OPM program. She was named one of GlobeSt.’s 2025 ELITE Women of Influence for her leadership and innovation in PropTech.
Sipho Simela
Founder & CEO, Matrix Rental Solutions
A first-generation American from a Zimbabwean immigrant family, Sipho built Matrix Rental Solutions from lived experience — knowing that access to housing is foundational to economic opportunity. Matrix is the first Universal Residential Rental Application for Affordable Housing, serving 460+ customers and 14,000+ users while reducing time-to-lease by over 50%. Sipho currently advises the FHFA, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac on making housing access faster, fairer, and more human.
Rowland Hobbs
CEO and Co-Founder of Stake, a FinTech-powered real estate platform on a mission to make renting financially rewarding through innovative Cash Back rewards. With a career spanning real estate, financial services, architecture, consumer goods, retail, and the arts, Rowland brings a rare breadth of cross-industry expertise to everything he builds.
He previously led design and innovation at Teneo, the global CEO advisory firm, and served as Head of Product Design for Accenture North America. Rowland is also the founder of Post+Beam, an innovation design firm, and Linea, a computer vision–driven photo sharing app. Earlier in his career, he founded the digital marketing division at Ruder Finn.
Rowland holds a Master of Arts in Philosophy from KU Leuven, Belgium, and a Bachelor of Arts from Sarah Lawrence College.
Deekron Krikorian, MBA, is an executive transformation coach, bestselling author, and keynote speaker who helps founders, investors, and business leaders sustain high performance under pressure in fast-changing industries such as real estate technology.
