For this concert we are joined by Brazilian guitarist Octavio Deluchi, and Concurrent Duo, featuring Argentinian percussionist Ignacio Corrales and our co-founder Kate Miller! Each artist will share two sets of standards and originals paired with custom-crafted cocktails from Rewind's bartenders.

More about Octavio:
Born in the mountains of Minas Gerais, Octávio Deluchi hails from São João del Rei and found his artistic and musical life in the city of Prados. A classical guitarist, musician, pedagogue, producer, and cultural organizer, he leads diverse projects and initiatives with the classical guitar and Brazilian music at the core of his work.
As a performer, he has won more than fifteen national and international awards and, just in the past season, appeared in Brazil, Chile, the United States, and England. His most notable performances include invitations to Carnegie Hall, the Radford International Guitar Festival, the Peabody Summer Guitar Institute, AV-Rio, and the Instituto Guimarães Rosa (Santiago, Chile).
He is the director of the Mostra de Violão da Lira Ceciliana; a founding member of AssoVio Vertentes – Associação de Violão das Vertentes; coordinator of the BCGC – Brazilian Classical Guitar Community and the concert series Domingo na Lira; and former president of the Southwest Virginia Classical Guitar Society. Since 2018, he has served as guest artist and professor at the Festival de Música de Prados.
Augustine Artist and based in New York City since 2021, he maintains an active cultural exchange between Brazil and the United States through SERTÃO Americas, a multimedia platform dedicated to cultural initiatives and creative solutions that range from audiovisual production to music publishing, including educational projects such as Jacarandá.
As a pedagogue, Deluchi has spent over thirteen years developing a sustained educational approach to the guitar as a form of expression. He currently teaches at EzraGuitar (Manhattan & Brooklyn) and at Stony Brook University at the undergraduate level.
