AMMO Fornés Writing Workshop with Dr. Ana Candida Carneiro on April 19th  Center Theatre Group Annex (Rehearsal Room C) Video link about the Fornés Writing Method: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXJHxw60y_A Ana Cândida Carneiro is an award-winning published playwright from Brazil/ Italy, currently based in Boston (USA). Her work has been supported by institutions such as Yaddo, MacDowell Colony, National Foundation for the Arts, Rockefeller Foundation and the Royal Court Theatre. She was born in São Paulo, and immigrated to Italy in early youth, where she lived for the last 15 years, before moving to the USA in 2015. She has a degree in Law and has accomplished academic studies in English, Brazilian and Italian Literature. She has a professional degree in playwriting from Civica Scuola d’Arte Drammatica Paolo Grassi, in Milan, and holds a PhD in Theatre Studies from the Catholic University of Milan, focusing on innovative playwriting techniques. She was a Visiting Scholar at the Martin E. Segal Theater Center, in NY, and is currently a Visiting Fellow at Harvard, where she is working on her forthcoming book on playwriting. She writes in Portuguese, Italian and English. Her works were presented in Italy, England, France, Sweden, Finland, Monaco and South Africa
