Join us for the closing event for Sugar Coated, which will feature an exclusive meet & greet with artist Samantha Salzinger. During the event, she will share details about her work and creative process. Guests will enjoy free museum admission from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM. Sugar Coated constructs a world where desire, nostalgia, and excess crystallize into landscapes both seductive and unsettling. Entirely built by hand—piped, poured, sculpted, and assembled—the environments mimic the glossy perfection of digital renderings, exposing the slippage between the real and the simulated. Childhood fantasies bloom into hyperreal terrains already tipping toward collapse.
