Fresh Ink is making its mark on JJC with classic tattoo flash, bold illustrations, vintage lettering, and all the iconic imagery of an old-school tattoo parlor. Inspired by traditional tattoo art, this theme celebrates the designs that have covered flash sheets and tattoo shop walls for generations. Think swallows, roses, hearts, dice, cherries, snakes, tigers, lucky horseshoes, stars, banners, and plenty of “Mom” tattoos. We’ll be playing with bold reds, deep blacks, rich greens, golden yellows, and that unmistakable vintage inked aesthetic. We’ll be gathering at Arwa Coffee near Addison for an evening of journaling, creativity, and putting our own spin on a classic tattoo parlor. Whether you’re covered in tattoos, have been dreaming about your next one, or simply love the artwork and nostalgia of traditional tattoo culture, there’s plenty of inspiration to work into your pages. We’ll have themed scrap packs filled with tattoo-inspired ephemera, flash-style illustrations, vintage papers, bold patterns, and thoughtfully curated embellishments perfect for creating a spread that feels fresh from the tattoo shop wall. Grab a coffee, bring your favorite supplies, settle in with friends, and get ready to add a little Fresh Ink to your journal.
