About Kamu Kamu
Known for his groundbreaking Afro-House sets, Kamu Kamu blends ancestral rhythms with cutting-edge electronic sounds. His performances across global cultural hubs like South Africa, London, New York, and San Francisco transcend borders, uniting audiences through the universal language of rhythm.
After a nine-year hiatus that deepened his focus on Afrocentricity, Kamu Kamu returned to the scene with soulful, tribal-infused beats that celebrate diversity. His artistry is inspired by the ancient Luganda proverb: “Kamu Kamu gwe muganda” (“One by one makes a bundle”), embodying his mission to bring people and cultures together through music.

About JAO
JAO is a First generation Filipino-American Artist/DJ born and raised in San Francisco. Inspired by the hard hitting subwoofers in modified cars of the 90s and 00s, it is there he learned music is not only something you hear, but also feel. Influenced by the grittiness of hip hop and vigor of hard rock, JAO decorates time and space with the grooves of house and electronic music. While a cook and camera man by trade, bringing people together (even for just a moment) has been the main driver behind his art and is now excited to do it with music.
