Being Great at 38: Keem's Birthday Celebration
Beloveds, thank you.
It's an honor to be loved, witnessed, remembered, and celebrated.
I'm inviting you into my 38th birthday weekend in whatever way you can: big, small, near, far, in person, virtually, spiritually, financially, joyfully, prayerfully, lovingly.
I'll be in Harlem Friday thru Sunday. Friday evening takes me to Brooklyn to honor D'Angelo's Voodoo at its 30th year alongside my sisterfriend Fatima Jamal, Faith Pennick, Brys Peralta, and MIMZ — then food, drinks, DEFINITELY dancing, and wherever the night leads. Saturday is brunch, James Baldwin, the Hudson River, prayer at the river, rest, and dancing. Sunday is Mother's Day church in Harlem, Spirit willing to honor my church going ancestors & that I was born Mother's Day 38 years ago.

Come to whatever you can. One thing, everything, or just a quick birthday hug. Invite others in with care, discernment, and joy at the center.
