Let the kids run wild. Let the moms exhale.
Join us for a child-led adventure at Bear Creek Greenbelt, where we’ll wander together from the trailhead to a creekside hangout about half a mile in. Expect lots of stopping, exploring, bug-catching, rock-throwing, and general joyful chaos.
This is not a “keep moving” hike. This is a slow, curious, follow-the-kids kind of morning.
Once we reach the creek, we’ll settle in for play, snacks, and connection while the kids get wet, dirty, and fully immersed in nature.
Look for your host (aka Mothership Commander Margo) with a Mothership flag.
What to bring:
✔️ Snacks/lunch + plenty of water
✔️ Change of clothes (they will get wet)
✔️ Water-friendly shoes
✔️ Blanket for the rocky beach
✔️ Carrier recommended (strollers are doable, but bumpy)
A few notes:
🌲 No dogs, please
🌲 Bathrooms available at the trailhead
🌲 Come late if you need to—we’ll be easy to find
Margo will have a Polaroid camera for keepsake photos and allergy-friendly cupcakes for the kiddos.
Expect creek splashes, sunshine, and real conversation while the kids do their thing.
