One last wave, then one last stop. Aprezz Surf Sundayz Film Series is back for Vol. II at Corner Pizza Leucadia, featuring a surf film screening, Sunday specials, and good company. This month, we’re screening The Present by acclaimed surf filmmaker Thomas Campbell, the director behind The Seedling and Sprout. Shot primarily on 16mm across West Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, California, Sumatra, Java, and Peru, The Present explores the many ways we access the surfing experience through a diverse lineup of surfers, places, and surf craft. Featuring Dave Rastovich, Dane Reynolds, Joel Tudor, Kassia Meador, Rob Machado, Alex Knost, Sofia Mulanovich + many more. Come early and make a night of it: 🍾 Sparkling Rosé — $12 🦪 Oysters — $2 each 🍤 Gambas — $12 A portion of proceeds from the evening will support Un Mar De Colores, creating more opportunities for the next generation to connect with the ocean through surf therapy, environmental education, and mentorship.
