After spending the last few weeks wandering Forbidden City & Summer Palace in Beijing then the National Palace Museum in Taipei (where many of the treasures from imperial times are housed), I've been fascinated with 20th century China and how it's become the China we know today 📽️ Excited to kick off AAPI Heritage Month with a screening of The Last Emperor The movie's centered around Puyi, the last Emperor of China and of the Qing Dynasty. It takes place during the era when both the Nationalists and the Communists were established, paving the way to what we now know as modern day China - 5:30pm: movie starts - 8:15pm: reflections & debrief 🥗 Feel free to bring your dinner to eat during the movie ↙️ 550 is the large back room – enter through 540 Laguna and walk through the Hogwarts hall to get to 550
