For many of us, the weight of this trauma feels overwhelming, both personally and in our communities. But here’s the truth: we don’t have to carry this alone. This training is for you: the heart-centered radical who is ready to build resilience, deepen connection, and create safer spaces for yourself and your community. Whether you’re an activist, caregiver, or simply someone who wants to show up more fully for the people you love, this training will give you the tools to navigate trauma with compassion and care. Join Alyssa Jones (they/she), a Chicago-rooted artist, yoga teacher, and Healing Justice practitioner, for a transformative online training on nervous system regulation and trauma-informed care. This session is designed to equip liberation-focused people with practical, low-barrier tools to provide equitable first aid to those impacted by structural violence. What You’ll Learn: Understanding Trauma: Explore how trauma and systemic oppression impact our bodies, minds, and relationships. Regulating the Nervous System: Learn simple, somatic practices to calm your body and create a sense of safety. Building Resilience: Discover how to strengthen your capacity to cope with stress and support others in doing the same. Creating Safer Spaces: Gain tools to foster connection, trust, and mutual care in your community.
