It is a place to practice reverence without dogma, to re-remember who we are, and to be together in the vastness of whatever we call God, Mystery, Reality, Love. ~~GUEST SPEAKER~~ Chongwol-la serves as the drupon, or retreat leader, for Lama Glenn Mullin, an acclaimed Tibetologist, author, and longtime student and translator of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Born in South Korea and raised in the United States, Chongwol-la spent 16 years as a Zen monk before entering deeper Mahayana and Vajrayana training. He now serves as Lama Glenn Mullin’s principal retreat master, carrying forward a Buddhist Tantra lineage rooted in the Dalai Lama’s Gelug tradition. ~~PROGRAMMING~~ Join Drupon Chongwol-la for an introduction to timeless tantra: a method-based approach to meditation using visualization, mantra, and deity practice to work directly with the mind. Tantra points to a continuum that is not created or bound by time: the nature of mind itself, already present, revealed through practice rather than built up gradually. This session offers a practical entry point for those wanting to move beyond conceptual study into direct practice.
