Due to high demand for tonight’s Zen and the Art of Matcha documentary premiere, we’ll be offering a limited number of seats to guests who didn’t RSVP.
Starting at 6:15 PM, we will allow first-come, first-served entry for any open seats due to RSVP no-shows.
Please note: RSVP guests will always receive priority seating, and entry is not guaranteed if the theater reaches capacity.

Enter into the world of matcha within the tea culture and spiritual matrix of Japan. By filmmaker Scott Garen.

Join us for a special screening and celebration of matcha, community, and the stories behind this ancient tradition. This premiere highlights the journey of matcha tea from farm to cup, honoring culture and craftsmanship.
Doors open at 5:30pm with a taiko performance outside. Onstage, Japanese dancers will perform at 6pm, another taiko drummer performance at 6:15pm, and the documentary screening will begin at 6:40pm.
For parking- we encourage you to use the parking garage as street parking is limited.
Attire — As far as attire, we encourage you to wear different green hues and color in honor of matcha.
Please note the Fox theater only allows clear bags up to 12”by12” and bags 6”by 8” and smaller with designs and small clutches and wallets.
