Join Mychal V. Prieto for a transformative breathwork experience that harmonizes breath, body, and sound. To awaken your senses, you will be guided through a combination of circular breathing, and an active three-part breath. This journey will be musically-driven and is designed dissolve mental clutter, open a portal into inner-clarity and peace, and anchor you deeply into the present moment. This practice is an active form of meditation and invites you to surrender fully. Participants will rest comfortably on their backs for the majority of the session, allowing for deep inner exploration and self-guided healing. We will conclude with the session by taking time to down-regulate the nervous system while being soothed by live sounds, including the ocean drum, native flute, shruti box, and more. Come curious. This class is NOT suitable for: • Individuals with acute or chronic heart-related health issues • Individuals with a history of heart attack, stroke, or epilepsy • Individuals who are, or may be pregnant BIO: Born and raised in Santa Barbara, Mychal V. Prieto has spent the past 13 years practicing, studying, and teaching a variety of movement and mindfulness modalities. He is a yoga teacher, breathwork facilitator, and meditation guide with years of experience holding transformational spaces rooted in ancient wisdom and modern somatic understanding. His work weaves conscious breath, meditation, and live sound to support deep self-exploration, nervous system regulation, and expanded states of awareness. Since 2018, Mychal has been a teacher on the online yoga + meditation platform, Inner Dimension Yoga. Over the past decade, he’s worked + partnered with brands like Nike, Lululemon, Manduka. He currently teaches in Los Angeles, CA at, Open studio in Venice Beach, as well as the Open online app.
