AlphaTheta and Homecoming are coming together to provide a free of charge beginner DJ workshop for people of colour hosted at the Metallic HQ.
A select few attendees will have the opportunity to join the exclusive Start From Scratch Accelerator Programme. This includes a full DJ course at On The Rise DJ Academy, funded by AlphaTheta, before each graduate is invited to play a live set at Homecoming Festival in Lagos, Nigeria!
The intention behind this program is to support minoritised and underrepresented communities. Our goal is to create a safe and productive space to nurture talent.
AlphaTheta have a commitment to making sure that there is increased diversity within our industry. We know from research that targeted events like these help close the gap.
