an art exhibition & community event
after a year of thinking about, making, sharing and studying chairs, form, and memory, it’s time to celebrate and muse together!!
a community created zine, stamping station for tote bags and shirts, temporary tattoos, and more more more! come to see, come to share, but most of all,
come to party. (it randomly happens to be abbeys actual birthday as well)
bring a friend, or whatever bring 10! chair is for everyone :-) we’ll go til around 11 PM give or take
any and all proceeds from this event will be donated to NYSYLC, who “works to empower immigrant youth through leadership development, grassroots organizing, educational advancement, and self-expression. Our goal is to give undocumented youth the tools and space to organize and create change in our communities.”
