Come see free theatre! 4 siblings, a lover, (and a roseate spoonbill) come together in a half-empty house to parse through their absentee mother’s belongings- however all is not what it seems. What’s the foreboding sound coming from upstairs? Where’s Emma? And WHY are all the towels wet? Sharp tongued, haphazardly staged, and weirdly tender-this production balances scrappiness with invention, grief with exuberance. A story about family, womanhood, avoidance, identity, inheritance, the cycles we find ourselves in, and the way out. “Now That You’re Small,” a play by Nadja Leonhard-Hooper makes its debut on a random roof in Bushwick.
