One year. Twelve months. Eight parties. November 22nd, we celebrate our anniversary, and James' birthday, with a night of celebration, connection, and debauchery.
All good things must come to an end. We're returning to Hell Phone for one last party this season. We don't know when we'll be back, so come dance with us before the days get too short and the nights too cold.
We're bringing everyone back, every DJ, every volunteer, and hopefully every guest who's made this year what it was. We're going all out with surprises for everyone in attendance.
Conduit, a multi-genre DJ known for connecting the scene with clubstack but also blessing dancefloors around the city with sexy, silky, and sensual bangers. His sets are enigmatic, life-affirming, and simply glorious. Expect to laugh, cry, and want to call your mom afterward—and wear your dancing shoes, because you won't want to leave the floor.
Mesa is a rising star in the NYC dance scene. Having played at venues such as H0L0, le bain, and Elsewhere, his sound is classic, soulful, and deeply moving. We told him to dig deep in his record bag so expect songs that will make you move, laugh, and cry.
BYLD is a local staple in the Brooklyn queer dance scene. A bassist, vocalist, and DJ, BYLD brings deep musical knowledge to all of his gigs. Having played at Earthly Delights, Bossa Nova Civic Club, and all over the country playing bass, it's clear that he understands a dance floor. His sound is diverse, smooth, sexy, and refined, and his friends know how to turn a dance floor into a euphoric experience. You don't want to miss this.
MISE is a Stop1 regular and is a legendary digger, knowing just when to drop that completely unknown deep cut or a historic anthem. During his set you may lose control and dance harder than ever before, you have been warned.
DJ Spotify is a local producer and DJ, tasked with opening the party you can expect deep cuts, energetic house, and mind-bending techno. you never know what you're going to get but it's guaranteed to be a good time.
Kettle runs Stop1 and is known for his diverse sets, mixing house, techno, and disco into euphoric times on the dance floor. His sets blur the line between accessible and educational, as he digs deep into his record bag. Focused on inclusivity, he created Stop1 for everyone, an entry point into the dance music scene.
Sotiris is our lighting engineer and we are blessed to have him on the team. His lighting design is simple, classy, and deeply emotional. He takes reference from all of the best parties and clubs in the world and brings their influence to Hell Phone, creating our little universe here. If you find yourself in a state of euphoria you can thank Sotiris.
We also wanted to thank our hosts and staff, Julian, Tom, Safia, and Iggy for providing much needed support for all of the events. They will be at the party if you need them.
Stop1 is meant to be an inclusive party, it's free and welcoming. Whether it's your first dance music event or you're a regular at every club in the city, we welcome you with open arms.
That being said, violence, non-consensual touching, racist, homophobic, transphobic, sexist, ageist or other discriminatory language, and leering are not allowed at the party.
