Memorial Day for Malin This Monday, May 25, 10-11am, we will gather to mourn the loss of Malin, the troll of Pease Park. On Thursday morning, while the city slept, Malin burned. For two years Malin sat in Pease Park holding a bowl out to us. We're holding a memorial at the site. No more troll. No more bowl. But bring something to share. A poem, a dirge, a word. Trumpets and drums and string instruments. Silence. Wildflowers. Your self. Something to share with strangers. We will grieve, gather, and come together as a community. 5/25 at 10:00 am - 11:00 am Pease Park / Malin's grave Tell your friends and neighbors. After the service, stay and enjoy the park. Bring a frisbee, bring a book, have a picnic. It's what she would've wanted.
