Elif Bet presents: "It's A Convoluted Play"

Our February reading is "It's a Convoluted Play," written by the wonderful playwright-dramaturg-stage manager and all-around wizard of the theater, Lingyi Wang. Come along for friends, snacks, dancing, and, of course, the story! About the play... 🧧 On the first day of the Spring Festival (大年初一), four college students in an experimental theater club scratch their heads for their very last performance. With friends coming and going, they stand at the awkward moment in between the old year and the new, reckon with memories and dreams, and eventually embark on a journey towards or away from home. It’s a Convoluted Play is a bilingual, gay, and non-American production, disjointedly put together into a puzzle that may never solve itself.
