ATL Peeps! Join us for a cozy movie night with queer community🩵 When: Sunday, Dec 4 from 6 pm - 10 pm. Movies start at 6:30 pm. Where: 2984 Decatur Ave Scottdale, GA 30079 Here, we will create a safe space for queer community to connect, while funding production for "Black Sheep," a short film surrounding a Black transwoman's journey back home whose presence disrupts the harmful family order. Wear your fav pj's and bring a friend or two (especially if they got money😏) and/or make it a date! Light snacks provided. Explore our IG to learn more about the film💕 Accessibility: Masks required in the bookhouse. yes please is in transition and does not yet have an ADA accessible bathroom in the home. The back entryway has a ramp. The path to the backyard is flat grass. Parking: yes please books is in a residential neighborhood with plenty of free, easy street parking. Please don't block any driveways. Cars parked on Decatur Ave should be parked on the same side of the street as yes please. You can also park on Kentucky St, Frances St, Hempstead St, and Exchange Ave. Marta: you can take bus 117 from Avondale Station and walk 3 minutes. The path is a paved road with no sidewalks.
