As part of the first ever Boston Tech Week, we’re bringing together people focused on getting real biology into the hands of consumers. Boston has built its reputation on therapeutics and the FDA-driven path. This meetup is centered on a different model. Faster access, new distribution channels, and products that reach people directly without waiting on traditional systems, while still grounded in strong science and real outcomes. There’s growing demand for health optimization, prevention, and performance. But most of the system is not designed to support it. That gap is where a lot of new building is happening. This is not about generic wellness apps or passive tracking. It’s about: - new ways of measuring biology that lead to action - delivering efficacious biology in products that are safe and accessible - creating paths to develop and access products without red tape The format reflects that. This is a casual, conversation-first event held at Ginkgo Bioworks’ exclusive event space in the Seaport’s Drydock district. We’ll start with a short welcome and intros from leaders actively building in the space including: - Evan Zhao, CEO of Pacagen - Rena Denoncourt, COO of Corsera Health - Dan Henderson, Head of Medical Innovation at WHOOP - Reilly Williams, CEO of Entirely Well Then move into topic-based groups so people can join the conversations most relevant to what they’re working on, including: - biomarker-driven insights and diagnostics - consumer-facing biological products across skin, hair, metabolism, and vaginal health - prevention and longevity-focused approaches - access, claims, and evolving go-to-market strategies The format is built for small group conversations so people can spend time on the topics most relevant to what they’re working on.
