Set against the backdrop of this week's events in Austin, TX, Signals & Presence brings together four sets of artists across four evenings, March 12 through March 15, to explore how individuals assert identity and visibility in an increasingly networked world.
Each night features a different group of artists whose work reflects the ways culture, technology, and personal narratives shape how we connect and express ourselves today. Through photography, visual storytelling, and mixed creative approaches, the exhibition highlights moments of connection, self-definition, and presence within contemporary life.
The theme, Signals & Presence, is intentionally expansive. We're inviting diverse interpretations of how people communicate who they are, how they are seen, and how they leave a mark within digital and physical spaces alike.
Participating artists were selected for their ability to capture these intersections of identity and connection. Alongside their work, artists will share written reflections that provide context for their pieces and insight into how their work engages with the exhibition theme.
Over four nights, the exhibition unfolds as a series of evolving perspectives. Each set of artists adding new signals, new voices, and new ways of being present in the world.
