TRIPWIRE: SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA NEW MEDIA EXHIBITION
You are invited to TRIPWIRE, a show curated by the second year MFA students in UCLA’s Design Media Arts program, highlighting a cross section of graduate students in the SoCal new media arts scene.
The inaugural show of the Southern California New Media Exhibition (SCanME), TRIPWIRE interrogates the intertwined systems of capital, power, and culture. Through sculpture, image, and games, artists employ tactics—dismantling, provoking, or evading—to reveal the underlying structures that sustain them.
