FILM IN ATX: 4th Annual Film Festival "NOSTALGIA" What do you remember — and what does memory do to you? We're gathering our community for an evening that goes deep. The Gallery ATX presents FILM IN ATX: 4th Annual Film Festival "NOSTALGIA" — not just the warm, fuzzy kind of nostalgia, but the complicated, aching, disorienting kind too. Expect short films that crack something open. Work that revisits childhood and inherited memory. Films that mourn entire eras, question what really happened, and return to places that meant everything. Stories about who you were, who you are, and all the distance in between — told by artists who aren't afraid to go there. This year's FILM IN ATX program features narrative, documentary, experimental, and hybrid films from creators whose work is grounded in real lived experience. We especially uplift and celebrate the voices of women, LGBTQIA+, and marginalized communities — because those are the stories that change us. And at the end of the night? You decide who wins. The audience votes for the People's Choice Award — because great art deserves to be celebrated by the people it moves.
