Poetry is Gay is a bi-weekly writing salon hosted by Brooke Finegold. The theme for this week is: Outgrowing Yourself, and we will be analyzing and writing based off of Brooke's first chapbook, Getting Fingered In A Hoodie, which will be launched on Sept 17 at What Mary Kept, 7-9pm. Anyone is welcome to attend as long as they have an open mind, kind heart and respectful attitude. This is a low stakes creative environment perfect for people writing their first ever poem to someone who has poetry books published.
