Pisces Season • Monthly Tea Meditation with Kava *SPECIAL EDITION* As we arrive at the closing waters of the astrological year, we gather for an extended edition of our monthly tea meditation. This month we will sit in circle with Kava Kava, a plant that quiets mental noise, relaxes the body, calms anxiety, and gently opens the throat so truth can move without force. Like Pisces, it belongs to the dreaming realms, softening the boundaries between inner and outer experience and helping us listen to what is ready to be spoken and what is ready to be released. To add to this special night, Giovanni will be holding this space as well since his ancestry runs through the Pacific Islands where Kava is from. He will share cultural context and traditional relationship with this plant, offering grounding in respect, lineage, and the communal nature in which kava has long been held. This portion of the evening invites us to approach the plant not only as an herb, but as a teacher carried through living traditions of gathering, listening, and presence. After sharing the kava together, we will move through our guided meditation to settle into reflection and awareness. From this space, we will enter a community dream-seeding ritual. Each participant will have an opportunity to speak intentions into the collective field through a water-based ritual, planting visions into the waters of Pisces so they may take root as we move toward spring and the beginning of a new cycle of an astrological year. This is a night for softening, for honest voice, and for remembering that dreaming is something we do not only alone, but together. Come to rest, to listen, and to imagine forward with community.
