DVASHE, the creative endeavor of artist Kieva Chalett, is a process-based fine sculpting studio in New York City focusing on detailed and refined hand craftsmanship. Working primarily in sterling silver, Chalett transforms raw metal into marked elegance while crafting unique narratives that bridge fine art and bespoke adornment. DVASHE maintains her distinctive approach in today's digital landscape by embracing traditional handcrafting techniques, allowing patient artistry—not computer automation—to guide the creation of each piece. GRIT, the debut collection of more than thirty unique pieces reinterprets classic forms with exaggerated shapes and rare textures. Rooted in her artistic practice, the gallery installation traverses multiple mediums including sculpture, photography, and moving image.
