🍊 So You Wanna Be an OC Cuties Volunteer? Let’s Talk About It 🫶 If you’re interested in helping out behind the scenes or at events, feel free to fill it out by this Sunday. This is NOT an in-person event. Hi hi hi! 💖 I'm Savanah, founder of OC Cuties First off, if you’re reading this, thank you. Whether you’ve attended one event or ten, the fact that you’re even considering helping behind the scenes means the world to me. I’ve poured my heart into OC Cuties, and the idea of growing a little volunteer team that loves this community as much as I do makes me want to cry in the happiest way 🥹🍊 But let’s be real: It's important to set clear expectations and boundaries. so this little “info night” (whether we’re doing it IRL or virtually) is all about being crystal clear with love, warmth, and honesty ✨ What Is This Event? This is a Volunteer Interest Night. aka, your chance to learn what volunteering with OC Cuties actually looks like before you commit to anything. You’ll get all the info, meet other sweet girls who are also thinking about helping, and ask all your questions. By the end, you’ll know if this is something you’d like to be part of. no pressure, no awkwardness, no hard feelings if it’s not your vibe 💛 What We’ll Cover: 🌸 What does it really mean to volunteer for OC Cuties? We’ll walk through expectations, the vibe, roles you can step into, and how to stay involved while still protecting your own time and energy. 🍬 What do I get as a volunteer? This is 100% volunteer based. meaning I don’t make any money from events, and I actually pay for my own ticket most of the time too. So while I may be able to comp your ticket here and there (depending on the event and budget), it is not guaranteed. You’re giving your time to support a community you love, not for perks or freebies. If/when I can show appreciation through free entry or other thank-yous, I absolutely will but please come in with an open heart and clear expectations 💕 🎀 Will I be “assigned” things? Kind of! Based on what you tell me you’re comfortable doing, I’ll reach out before events and ask if you’re available to help with something. You can always say no. Seriously. I want you to feel empowered, not obligated. 🫶 How much of a commitment is this? You only need to attend one event per month to stay in the loop. That’s it! Come to more if you can, but just stay connected. You don’t have to be loud or “out there”. quiet cuties are just as valuable as bubbly ones 📣 What types of things might I help with? – Setting up decor and supplies – Checking girls in and passing out name tags – Taking BTS content for IG – Helping with cleanup after events – Giving feedback or helping me brainstorm – Picking up supplies or snacks if I’m in a time crunch – Finding pop-ups, fun spots, or cool activities in OC – And more as we grow! 🍊 How to Become an OC Cuties Host ✨ aka: So You Wanna Plan an Event? Let’s Chat! AHHH!!! If you’re even thinking about hosting an OC Cuties event, I’m already so excited for you 🥹💖 The fact that you love this group enough to want to create magic for others is the biggest compliment, and I’m so honored you feel called to step into this role. But before we jump into that ✨party planning energy✨, I want to make sure you feel fully prepared and supported and that you understand what hosting means in the world of OC Cuties. 💫 The Hosting Pathway Hosting isn’t just about picking a theme and posting a flyer. It’s about creating a safe, welcoming, and memorable experience that aligns with the Cuties vibe: inclusive, intentional, friendly, and full of heart. Because of that, there’s a little prep journey first, so you can learn how we do things and build confidence along the way: 1. Be an Assistant at 1 (or more) Events: Help with setup, check-in, cleanup, or any small behind the scenes task. This gives you a feel for what actually goes into events. 2. Cohost at 1 (or more) Events: Take a bigger role with me or another trusted host. This might mean helping with RSVPs, being in the group chat, helping with ticketing, or bringing supplies. 3. Then, and only then... Host Your Own Event! Once you’ve had hands on experience and we’ve both agreed the timing feels good, you’ll be invited to plan and lead your very own OC Cuties event 💫 ⚠️ Note: This isn’t always a simple “one and done” path. Depending on the vibe, communication, follow through, or just how you’re feeling, you may need to assist or cohost more than once before you’re ready to lead. That’s okay! It’s not a test, it’s about setting you up for success 💛 🌸 Hosting Means You’ll Be In Charge Of: • Picking the theme + vibe • Coordinating the details (time, location, cost, etc.) • Writing the Partiful or event page • Helping promote it on social media or in group chats • Communicating clearly with attendees • Handling last minute changes • Leading the flow during the event • Cleaning up or assigning helpers You’ll also have full support! I’ll be here to help, offer templates, brainstorm ideas, and talk through anything you’re unsure of. I want you to feel confident going into this. ✨ Reminder: You do not need to become a host to be a valuable part of OC Cuties. Hosting is a big step, and it’s totally okay if that’s not where your heart is right now or ever! We love our quiet Cuties, behind the scenes helpers, and girls who show up to help just because they care. Hosting is one way to serve, not the only way 💛 🫶 Want to Help… But Don’t Wanna Be a Host? Hi, sweet Cutie. THIS SECTION IS FOR YOU! 🥹🍊 You don’t have to be front and center. You don’t have to be loud. You don’t have to lead a group of girls or be “on” the whole event. Your help still means everything. 🌷 What You Can Do That’s Just as Important: • Help with setup or decorating • Do supply runs or help load/unload my car • Check in attendees at the door • Pass out favors or name tags • Take behind the scenes pics or help with IG • Be a friendly face for solo attendees • Help me brainstorm ideas for events or themes • Assist with Google Docs, reminders, forms, etc. • Keep track of RSVPs or help write FAQs • Be the person who says, “You’ve got this” when I’m overwhelmed 🥹 You can be fully behind the scenes and still be a part of this magic kingdom of friendship vibes 🏰✨ I always need help with admin work, organization, ideas, and day of support. I’ll never stop being grateful for every girl who offers even 15 minutes of her time to help make something beautiful. 🍊✨ For Everyone You’ll never be asked to do something you haven’t said yes to. You’ll never be shamed for saying no. This is a team, not a hierarchy. I’m not a boss, I’m just a girl with a dream who needs a little help making it all happen 🍊✨ 💌 Is This the Right Fit for Me?
