Fugitive is an outdoor chase game, typically played at night, in large neighborhoods, parks, or campuses. Here's how it's played: 1. Objective - Fugitives must make it from a starting point to a designated endpoint without getting caught by the Cops. 2. **Setup** 1. Divide the players into two groups: Fugitives and Cops. The more participants, the better. 2. **Start and End Points** - Round 1: Start at the Liberty Park end zone (see the map below) and run to Sugarhouse Park End Zone. - Round 2: Start at Sugarhouse Park and run to Liberty Park end zone. - A map of inbounds and out-of-bounds areas will be provided. https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit?mid=11XZCALScNZJdakyLPzgczYoW1WSTX-g&usp=sharing 3. **Rules** 1. **Fugitives** - Fugitives travel on foot and aim to reach the endpoint. - They can run, hide, and take any route, but must stay within the game boundaries. - Fugitives can split up, hide, or take detours to avoid capture. 2. **Cops** - Cops start a few minutes after the fugitives and are typically on bikes. - The goal is to catch fugitives before they reach the endpoint. - Cops patrol the area, use lights, and must physically tag fugitives to catch them. - Once a fugitive is caught, they become a cop. 3. **Winning** - A fugitive wins if they reach the endpoint without being caught. - The cops win if they catch all the fugitives before they reach the endpoint. 4. **Time Limit** - Each round lasts 1 hour. Everyone circles up at the end of each round to start the next. Fugitives must reach the endpoint within the time limit. 4. **Special Considerations** - Bring black clothing to be sneaky, a headlight or flashlight to use as a cop, and Mardi Gras beads to distinguish players from non-players. - Once a cop tags a fugitive, the fugitive puts on their headlight and becomes a cop for the rest of the round. - Fugitives get a 7-minute head start. - Cops on bikes may wear high-visibility vests for safety. 5. **Schedule** - Gather at Liberty Park End Zone at 7:30 PM to review the rules and boundaries. - Round 1: 8:00 PM – 9:15 PM. - Round 2: 9:30 pm to 10:30pm
