Come dance to some new original tunes by the bands Yaffa and Bryan Adams in Eastie Farm's rad zero-emission greenhouse in East Boston. Bring your climate grief, your feelings about what's going on in the world, and move some of it through in community and connection. Half the proceeds will go to Eastie Farm, a local food & climate justice org and the host of the evening, and half the proceeds will go to the bandmates (hopefully for album production soon). We appreciate any donation amount possible as Eastie Farm supports an immigrant-majority community and Environmental Justice community which means the org is very much struggling from the federal administration's new pauses and restrictions on grants. Nobody turned away due to lack of funds. All are welcome. Come gather, come dance, come be inspired by songs about fighting the good fight, and leave with a harvest of hope. It's a potluck, so bring some nosh! We'll be serving up some salad from fresh greens growing now in the Eastie Farm hydroponic freight farm. Local beer available for purchase. 5-6pm - Jazzy upbeat covers with Bryan Adams (Bryan Medina, Adam Eisen, Khalil Williams, Jeremy Raphael) 6-7pm - Soul-folk songs of her forthcoming album, Blooming Desert, by Yaffa (Jenny Wechter, Matt Lillie, Dan Litrownik, Bryan Medina, Tim Cooney) How to get there? Take the T (blue line) to airport station, walk 8 min through the park to 6 Chelsea Terrace Ample parking available in the lot next door at 189 Paris St, Boston Venmo @jennywec to rsvp. Please include note that says "greenhouse show." Spots limited
