Fairness Machine

“alone / together” is a food and music concept pairing 7 courses and 3 performances featuring original indie-folk songs with string arrangements by Fairness Machine. Exploring the interplay between auditory and culinary experiences for the maker and the consumer, the evening dances on the tension between solitude and gathering. How does something composed in the closet or conjured up in the shower come alive at the table, in front of an audience? And how do individuals experience something as personal and intimate as food and music in the collective? Come ring in the end of summer with an evening like no other. Includes a 7-course dinner, pours of 3-4 wines including qinghong wine, and 3 string performances by Fairness Machine. We'll also be partnering with Uncle's Thai Food, China Wine Club, and Fuzhou Sisters for this dinner.
