Happy Thai, Lao, Cambodian, and Burmese (TLCB) New Year! I am partnering up with Victoria of Southeast Collective to have a vision board theme for TLCB New Year! We are going to donate 50% of our proceeds to Legacies of War at East Creamery!
Legacies of War brings awareness to the bombings that occurred in Southeast Asia. They delegate trips to Laos to communicate with local members who remove active mines that are located in Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam. The United States dropped 13 million tons of ordnance throughout these countries, and Laos is the most bombed country per capita in history. 50 years later, civilians are still haunted by these bombs. Seven lives were loss by an mine that recently detonated in January 2026.
Together with Southeast Collective, we are trying to raise funds to help Legacies of War. As Lao-Americans, we want to share our culture and history to everyone.
We will have Southeast Collective merch you can purchase!
There will be a photobooth area you can take pictures for your journal.
We will have a "Write a Letter" station to members of Congress to bring awareness of Legacies of War's efforts.
As a tradition for TLCB New Year, there is a water station where we will be blessing you for the new year. Water washes the old you to present a new beginning! We welcome everyone to join us to create a vision board for spring or for your junk journal! We will have supplies and magazines to get you started for your vision board!
