This 10 mile (80 Block) walk from 11th & Troost to 95th & Troost, serves the purpose of helping to see Troost from a different vantage point, and recognizing the Black Owned Businesses along the way. 

Walk with Brandon Calloway (KC G.I.F.T CEO) & Mayor Quinton Lucas and break the stereotypical narrative of Troost by checking out the development and opportunity along the dividing line of our city, as well as the numerous Black Owned Businesses along Troost, many supported by KC G.I.F.T.

Important information:

By participating in this walk you are agreeing to be responsible for your own health and wellbeing. By no means are you required to walk the full 10 miles. 

You are responsible for getting home or back to your car at the end of the walk. Please plan this ahead of time. 

You are encouraged to bring something that will allow you to stay hydrated and nourished. Please plan for this ahead of time as well.
