*◟*WE NEED YOU AT THE UPCOMING BOSTON CITY COUNCIL BUDGET HEARING TO HELP US RESTORE FUNDING.
LGBTQIA+ funding for the City of Boston has been cut.
The Mayor has proposed a budget eliminating funding for grants to community orgs serving Boston’s LGBTQIA2S+ communities, people with disabilities, immigrants, youth, elders, and others in need.
The Boston City Council is currently deciding how to spend your tax dollars for the upcoming year.
They are reviewing the Mayor’s proposed budget and have the opportunity to pass amendments that can include restoring funding for the eliminated grants or other services
WE ARE ASKING OUR COMMUNITY TO SHOW UP AND PACK THE COUNCIL CHAMBER (and wear baby blue!)
