anti-homophobic picnic & photoshoot
Hiii💛 We’re doing a photoshoot inspired by the anti-gay protest scene in “But I’m a Cheerleader”
to celebrate Pride!!
We’ll be in Prospect Park making satirical anti-gay posters, dressing in pink & blue, & then doing a photoshoot with our signs.
The concept plays with gender performance, especially how awkward it feels trying to “do gender” in ways that don’t actually fit us.
The dress code is:
pink💞&/or blue 💙
Think gender performance: lean into it, but let it feel slightly “off” & playful. Mix pink, blue, layers, & pieces that don’t fully work together or feel intentionally mismatched.
Materials for posters & some accessories will be provided!! BRING CARDBOARD THOUGH PLZ
