Can I Play You Something? is a new conversation series from DISTINCT LIFE, hosted by Rick and Yolanda Williams, exploring music through conversation, memory, influence and discovery. For each conversation, we sit down with an artist and play songs that open the door to a bigger discussion — about the music that shaped them, the records they return to, their creative process, Detroit, culture and the stories behind their own work. For our first conversation, we're sitting down with Detroit rapper & community activist GT at Xhibition during Detroit Month of Design.
