Join Yesod + Brooklyn Jews for an evening of learning, pre-High Holiday reflections, and hanging out with fellow Jews in their 20s/30s! This month, Elul, is traditionally a time to reflect on who we want to be in the year to come. Sonia Alexander and Emily Becker from Avodah's Justice Fellowship will lead us through a workshop exploring religious texts & historical stories, offering us much needed inspiration in these fascist times. With space for multiple perspectives and interpretations, we’ll reflect on how Jewish text, practice & history can fuel our justice work in 5787. Pizza and beer will be provided. There is no cost to attend, but RSVPs are appreciated! Cohosted by Yesod (a program of Park Slope Jewish Center) & Brooklyn Jews (A project of Congregation Beth Elohim)
