Sensual Touch Skills for Two Workshop with Kelly Marshall and Miranda Wylie Cost: $120 per pair (You can also purchase a single ticket for $60) Whether you've wanted to improve your massage skills or become more skilled at attuning to another person, this workshop will help you and another gain an understanding of the language of touch: for connection, for communication, and for cultivating nervous system safety with another. While the concept of sensual touch is generally reserved for romantic or sexual partners, engaging in non-goal oriented and exploratory touch for mutual pleasure, emotional closeness, trust, and intimacy can happen with friends, acquaintances, play partners, found family, lovers, whomever: just two people willing to learn sensual touch with each other. This workshop is good for those looking to improve hands-on skills with rope, impact, and sensory scenes. You will learn to clearly negotiate touch and practice giving and receiving touch with presence. ~~Workshop Description~~ Touch is a language. And like any language, it can be learned, refined, and spoken with greater fluency. This experiential, partner-based workshop is designed for two people who want to deepen trust, increase attunement, and expand their capacity for both pleasure and care through intentional touch. Participants will explore how nervous system regulation, consent, and communication shape the quality of touch. Through guided exercises, demonstrations, and supported practice, partners will learn how to offer touch that is grounded, responsive, and mutually nourishing—whether the intention is relaxation, intimacy, erotic play, or scene-based exploration. While rope, impact, and sensory elements are included, the emphasis is not performance or technique for its own sake, but presence: learning how to listen with your hands, track your partner’s responses, and adjust in real time. All activities are opt-in, adaptable, and framed through trauma-informed and consent-forward practices. ~~Facilitator Background~~ Kelly This workshop is facilitated by Kelly Marshall, a massage therapist of 18+ years, yoga therapist, and somatic practitioner specializing in nervous system regulation, trauma-informed touch, and relational attunement. Kelly’s professional background integrates Viasomatic methods, somatic experiencing principles, the Wheel of Consent framework, and mindfulness-based bodywork skills. In addition to clinical and therapeutic experience, Kelly brings extensive experience working with queer, trans, and neurodivergent clients, as well as within kink-aware and power-exchange dynamics. Their facilitation style prioritizes creating a container where participants can feel empowered to explore vulnerability, sensation, and connection. Clear agreements, explicit consent frameworks, and ongoing check-ins are woven throughout the workshop to ensure participants feel supported, respected, and empowered in their choices. Miranda Miranda Wylie is a trauma-informed intimacy guide, a somatic sex and relationship coach, and a surrogate partner therapist. She guides individuals and couples to rewrite the story of their bodies, and their relationships to shame and pleasure. Her greatest interest is healing, in all its forms. She believes that for the collective, we have to heal ourselves. Miranda encourages dismantling people pleasing and becoming selfish as a way to become embodied. More about what being selfish in this context looks like on her relationship coaching site: https://www.selfishsexuality.com/ ~~Learning Outcomes~~ You will leave this workshop knowing: - How to clearly negotiate touch using consent-based language and nervous-system-aware communication - How to give and receive touch with greater presence, responsiveness, and confidence - Practical skills for grounding, regulating, and co-regulating with a partner - How to read somatic cues and adjust pressure, pacing, and intensity in real time - How to create scenes and touch experiences that prioritize safety, trust, and mutual enjoyment ~~Intended Audience~~ This workshop is open to couples and dyads of all genders and sexual orientations. No prior experience with massage, rope, or kink is required. Participants should be comfortable engaging in consensual, clothed touch in a group setting.
